On a sunny day last August, Steven Garcia — a contractor at a New Mexico lab that made parts for US nuclear weapons — disappeared after leaving home with a handgun (sources called him “a very stable person,” according to the Daily Mail). Neil McCasland, a retired general who led a classified US space weapons program, vanished in February; Anthony Chavez, a US nuclear weapons scientist, was last seen in May; Melissa Casias, who worked at Chavez’s lab, was last seen walking alone on a highway last summer… Some say there are up to 10 US defense or NASA scientists who’ve weirdly gone missing over the last year or so, and most media isn’t covering it (probably because I now sound insane). Chinese spies? Maybe working in defense research is just super hard and depressing? Did they all disappear to the quantum realm? I hope that’s it, actually. Because if not, holy shit.

Good news for breadline enthusiasts: Mamdani’s city-owned grocery store is coming to Harlem in 2029, and it will only cost $30 million. Currently, everyone seems pessimistic because… can the government even run a grocery store? However, it will be even worse if The People’s Produce “succeeds.” DSA members, while generally useless, can indeed work a cash register (source: Trader Joe’s). But there are also at least five grocery stores within walking distance of Mamdani’s Market, meaning, contrary to popular delusion, they eatin’ good in Harlem. After the Commie Cornucopia opens, competing stores will have to cut costs by either firing workers or shutting down. The Socialist Supermarket will then likely be scrapped when a new mayor is elected, at which point Mamdani may have finally succeeded in creating an actual food desert in the middle of America’s richest metropolis. At least when Harlem goes hungry we can all celebrate the lowered obesity rates. Thank you, MAHA Patriot Mamdani.

Nick Shirley, the YouTuber / fraud sleuth famous for spotlighting poorly-spelled daycare centers and their mysterious lack of children, is calling out a proposed bill in California which he claims will “criminalize investigative journalism.” AB-2624, which seeks to bolster “privacy for immigration support services providers” by criminalizing the sharing of these providers’ photos and personal information, is being dubbed the ‘Stop Nick Shirley Act’ by some Republicans in the state, who argue it will prohibit journalists from reporting on California nonprofits. The Democrat who introduced the measure, however, believes the protections are necessary, since “individuals who provide immigration support services… are facing targeted harassment.” Neat! You know what many of these people are also facing though? ZERO penalties for robbing Californians, through fraudulent practices we only know about thanks to folks like Shirley and Chris Rufo. Perhaps we save the concern about nonprofit execs’ “privacy” until we’re positive my tax dollars didn’t fund their Rolex.
